Looks like Portland's version of Scarecrow up here in Seattle.

Just watched Die Hard 4 again if only because of Maggie Q. Yes please.

Ziyi Zhang. Game over. Something about her....Maggie Q is attractive, but if I'm going that way......yes, she has Asian heritage.
Never really developed a taste for tequila. Kind of hard to understand how you make a drink out of something that sharp, inhospitable. Now, bourbon is easy to understand.

Being in the World. A documentary about how to find authenticity and fulfillment by yielding to those things which "call ourselves out of ourselves." A very good, gentle look at some profound philosophy with a highly practical aim. Surprisingly thorough for something that aspires to treat such a deep subject. A+.

I've paired this with a post in the book review thread on All Things Shining, which treats similar subjects in a similar way.

                  Lego Movie 2:

All the references. All of them. Pretty good movie, once the big twist was revealed in the first one, they rolled it into this one throughout, and it worked. I can't say it was outstanding, but very much worth watching. Ambiguous on there being a third, I can't spoil it, but I was wondering until the end, and even then.....

                    Long Live The King.

Great summer movie. Played like an old school Godzilla movie with all the modern trimmings.

                      Midsummer Night's Sex Comedy.

A sweet farce; it gets better as you get older. Julie Haggerty was a very funny actress -- Airplane! was no fluke. Some beautiful shots by Allen -- the dinner and the brook are pure pastoral paradise.

Extra points for being one of the few times Mia Farrow is tolerable. B+.

Saw Rocketman last night. Nothing groundbreaking but if you like Elton John or want his backstory it's very entertaining. 7/10

I was hoping for Melissa McCarthy. But, yeah, I can see him. That's what that franchise so richly deserves.
