The BC game is a Thursday night contest. The reason being that BC hosts Miami(FL) in football Friday October 26 so any St. Cloud fans making the trip might like to consider taking in a good ACC ESPN network Friday night matchup before the Northeastern game the next night.
That is unusual for an AWAY team like SCSU to play a BC home game on a weeknight instead of the weekend.

BC does not play Notre Dame in Football this year. Surprising BC only has 2 Home games of it's 10 OOC games since the poor OOC record the past 2 years kept them just out of the NCAA's despite being in the top 16 PWR. Jerry York loves the challenge it presents and the promise of travel to great hockey venues and with the entire team returning minus the one grad student along with some very good recruits they should break that cycle this time.
I just had a thought on this... with all the feelings of BC possibly being able to get into the tournament if the math wasn't stacked against them this past year, could they possibly be trying to stack the math by playing as many away games as possible? It doesn't count as much against you if you lose away, but it's weighted more if you win or tie away.
That will also complete the schedules for Wisconsin (they mention the 19th for the Chicago game) and State.
Not so fast...
I called the UW ticket office to confirm, since there was contradicting information in the literature for season ticket renewal vs what was published on the website.
According to the Asst Manager who is in charge of hockey (who would be coordinating the ticketing activity for the Chicago game), we are locked in for Friday in Madison. The game in Chicago will be either Saturday or Sunday, they have to wait on NHL and NBA scheduling to finalize that date.

Fair enough, then. State only is now finished. Until we get a date for the Chicago game...

State may not be finished either, unless site isn't that important. The February series against Michigan should be one game in Ann Arbor and one in Detroit. The release on MSU's site even makes a point not to specify which games are home/away for that weekend, despite doing so for every other series.
Also, the first series in Nov/Dec should have the sites flipped. MSU is home on Friday, Michigan on Saturday.

Oops...
I assume this is that deal where they play a game at whatever the new NHL arena is (I know it's not the Joe anymore)? Obviously Lansing vs. Detroit is a bit of a drive, and try to put special sites in there when I can, but I'm not going to bother moving the whole weekend down unless we really think it's going to change. Hopefully one of the two schools will release soon.
ETA: Although the listing does not show it, the news article makes note of a semester break tournament, which I assume is the Las Vegas Invitational. We'll keep that as is, meaning WMU is complete.
You guys play Miami in football Friday night. Do you really want to run a hockey game against THAT? Thursday was the only option.
Considering the luxury boxes overlook both the rink and stadium and the access to one side of the stadium is through the rink it is impossible to hold both at the same time unless BC could use it to increase football capacity by about 7500 and hockey capacity by 44700 with those in the other sections viewing the other game on the videoboards. Deducting about 300 since you could not count the luxury boxes twice. Sure the Fire Marshall would have some input on this.
