So now there is a criminal investigation into Russia. Process is the deal with Ukraine even though the process being followed was put in by Republicans for Benghazi. It's almost like everything that applies to everyone does not apply to Republicans including the rules put in by Republicans.

The Economist is a great institution but nobody even mistook it for liberal. It's the Paper of Record for the international finance class. If you look carefully at the masthead I'm sure you'll see Rover's name.

Those people have a place -- in my ideal world Jacobin is the Left and the Economist is the Right. I could live in that world -- the smart people would make the important decisions and the dim bulbs' natural tendency towards superstition and violence would be indulged with sportsball and teevee and ignored at the sovereign level. There is no current Republican politician who would make the cut in that world other than Weld and maybe Romney, unless you count Roberts and Gorsuch.
