There was a shot in the 4th or 5th end of that match that was fairly difficult but an Olympian should make, that the guy missed by the slimmest of margins and instead of a possible big lead the US settled for one. That miss seems to have shaken his confidence and he's been rattled ever since.

The US finally tie the score midway through the second. The Lamoureux sisters. 1-1 and now a USA PP.

        Coyne is frighteningly quick.

ETA: Right on cue, Kendall Coyne scores on a gorgeous one-timer to give the USA a 2-1 lead.

Raty is the only reason this isn't 5-1 right now...

Hope she can do this to the Canadians.

Monique Lamoureux outshot Finland 6-5 in the second period. The rest of Team USA chipped in with 17 other shots.

What the hell happened to the announcers at Curling? These two are putting me to sleep.

I watched on the NBC app on Roku. It was over a while ago.

I see the other semifinal is tomorrow morning at 6:05. Ugh.

Maybe already answered elsewhere, but why bother to ban the Russian team if you're going to allow them to compete anyway?

They only banned the "dirty" athletes...

Moot point... The entire federation is the Olympic equivalent to mid-2000s USC.

How about the US mixed doubles team beat two of the teams in the final four too? Couldn't win the games they should have otherwise would have had a shot at a medal.

Jamie Anderson takes Gold in Slopestyle...

Sucks that the weather was such an issue for the comp... Having been in situations where the wind is screwing with your runs, it's such a mind-fudge....

Definitely looked like it was affecting some of the runs.

The NBC Sports app strikes again. Yesterday I missed the end of snowboarding entirely, now I can see the curling but the audio is about 20 seconds ahead so I hear the announcers and competitors reacting to the shot while watching the shooter get ready to throw the stone. Fun times.
