Providence tied and lost to Vermont last weekend. I think the Friars will be on a "mission" tonight. Having said that, still possible Swayman can win the game.

Your right that Providence will be none to happy after there play in Vermont, but to UVM's credit they have been playing a whole lot better the last few games...but again for Maine to so call steal a win @ PC, they need Swayman to be the best player on the ice.

Yeh, he is a good one. A little dry with goals this year but a good play maker.

I think he’s always been more of a pass first player, I read a scouting report from a Red Wings website and they wanted him to develop more of a scoring touch. I think last year he had to do it all on his own for the most part, while this year he has two scorers on his wings he can make feeds to.

Turn on NESN plus and I got a static graphic screen that says "MAINE AT (9) PROVIDENCE FRIDAY 7 PM" with audio of Northeastern/UConn. Wonderful.

HockeyEast Web site says 7:15 maybe it'll kick in at the quarter hour like the old TBS

Maine Hockey: I want to believe
            43-21-4 (.662) in games I attended over 4 years as a student
            104-47-14 (.669) in that time
            3x FROZEN FOUR

11-20-2 in games I've attended since. (2-2-1 under Red)

It's on now. This is typical with these "additional" channels. They have no prior programming so there is nothing on up until the second that the broadcast starts.

Yeah, and the announcer said "We're expecting a sellout tonight." Hysterical...

                      Looks like Providence is diving.

Tralmaks centered on a penalty but Pearson buried it.

                              Tied at 1

Whiff pass into the zone goes other way for transition goal.

                                2-1 Friars
