        Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) said that he doesn’t want President Donald Trump to declare a national emergency to fund the wall because of the precedent it would set for the next Democratic President, according to a Thursday Wall Street Journal report.

        “I don’t want the next national emergency to be that some Democrat President says we have to build transgender bathrooms in every elementary school in America,” Gaetz said.

                          They are turning her into the next Hillary. They figure they have free reign to destroy her for the next X amount of years before she runs for Prez so that by the time she does people will believe she is as bad as they say she is. Difference is though AOC fights back and sounds smarter doing it than Hillary ever did.

                          How the Right treated Hillary for 30 years is a character study in how to play the long game in political assassination. It worked so well to this day there are people that hate her and are glad she lost and have no idea why. It was Manchurian Candidate level brainwashing and it worked across the board.

                            The problem with the GOP's plan on that one is that (as you have pointed out) AOC doesn't hold back AND there are going to be more AOC's coming.

                              Hillary sat in Congress and rolled her eyes for 12 hours. AOC will likely swing right back. Her generation isn't the "When they go low, we go high, it's more of "when they put you in the hospital, we put them in the morgue" variety.

                              Not good for the political "tone", but the GOP has wrecked that anyway.

                                Old Democrats still treat Republicans as if they are adults of good will with functioning minds. Young Democrats understand they are terrorists. We are fighting back and that horrifies the David Brooks Set, in part because their appeasement of the knucks turned America into a third world country over the last 40 years while they personally got very, very rich from it.
