You are just begging for someone to post a "List of Best Lists" to annoy you

    (I agree btw)

Of course I'm a fan of the Vikings. A sick and demented Masochist of a fan, but a fan none the less.

I like that it is "your favorite" and not "best."

Some of my favorites are really not good movies. Just re-watched Goonies this weekend, b/c someone (around my age) HADN'T SEEN IT.

We MST3K'd it. And we realized how bad it really was. However, still an 80s classic, and I still like it.
Never really developed a taste for tequila. Kind of hard to understand how you make a drink out of something that sharp, inhospitable. Now, bourbon is easy to understand.

Psst. That's what all "best" lists are. Subjective judgments are called that for a reason. There are no objective aesthetic standards; it's all just consensus and scoping your audience. Somewhere there's a guy who will argue Leonard Part 6 is an "objectively" better film than Citizen Kane with such conviction than each of us will begin to believe him after a while.

Not necessarily. I wouldn't argue that Citizen Kane is not one of the best movies of all time given the consensus, same with 2001. However I personally find both to be overrated and wouldn't put either in my own personal Top 20.

But there are an infinite number of ways of scoping consensus and none of those are objective because they are also a matter of taste.

It's subjectivity all the way down.

Thanks to living near the greatest video store in the world for years I fondly recall browsing through hundreds of similar titles. IIRC, Ilsa herself is a franchise with many incarnations. I missed them all, though. Too tame.
