The pumpkin beer (or Oktoberfest, for those of you that aren't a fan of pumpkin) is flowing (for those of you that are 21 *coughcough*), the air is getting colder, and PtC is back. It must be autumn!
The rules are going to remain the same as last year... you are allowed to pick one player per team per night that you think will score points during a weekend series. The same player cannot be used for multiple games in the same weekend. However, in tournament settings, you will be picking one player from each team that you believe will score points over the course of that tournament. All games played (not just the ones involving RPI) will count in tournaments.
The top defenseman and forward in scoring (that's real points, not PtC points) will be ineligible to discourage everyone from choosing the same four / six players every single weekend.
The breakdown of points by position:
Forwards:
Goal - 2 points
Assist - 1 point
Defensemen:
Goal - 3 points
Assist - 2 points
Goalie:
Goal - 10 points
Assist - 4 points
Win - 2 points
Shutout - 3 points
Please note that split shutouts will not count. A goalie must play the entire game (minus any time where the team uses an empty net) to receive credit for a shutout.
Various goalie scenarios, just for clarification's sake:
1-0 Win = 5 points
0-0 Tie = 3 points
2-1 Win = 2 points
1-1 Tie = 0 points
As a reminder, the designation of forward or defenseman will be made on a game-by-game basis depending on where said player is listed in that game's line chart.
As an extra incentive, the poster(s) that score the most points on that week's set of games will receive a bonus point.
I will do my best to provide the scores on Sunday, along with the rosters and restrictions for the upcoming week.

Link to the spreadsheet with the PtC standings [slightly bastardized version available, full version available later] No, you do not need Dropbox to download this. However, you do need Microsoft Excel / OpenOffice.org in order to open it.
