      For new year's I was with the bf and his friends, watching the crazy guy jump a car over some water at midnight (or 9 pm in California where he was). Anyway, all the coverage they did that tried to explain forces on the car, and changes made to the car were very amusing. The car nerds I was with kept talking about how nearly everything they said on tv was wrong. Even I (knowing nothing of cars) could tell some of the stuff was wrong...but that's because I do know some Physics.

                              Washington DC is supposed to get up to 3 inches of snow tonight, and the locals are panicking. NASA even told us they would call if work is cancelled tomorrow. All kinds of news stories tonight about the preparations being made for this nasty storm. Its all very amusing
