The Return of Hockey East Thoughts/Predictions - Oct 8-10

Skipped a year with this, but figured I'd bring it back. Not sure if anyone wants to keep track of points this year, I won't have the time to do it, but I'll try to put this up every week. Maybe this can be a practice week (if someone does want to keep track of points, I think we did one point for correctly predicting the outcome, 2 for correctly predicting a tie and an extra point for correctly predicting the score?) Anyway, here goes:

    Thursday, October 8
*Rensselaer at Massachusetts, 7:00 RPI 3-2

    Friday, October 9
*UMass-Lowell vs. St. Lawrence (Ice Breaker, Omaha), 5:00 UML 4-2
*Maine at Union, 7:00 Union 4-3
*Northeastern at Colorado College, 9:30 CC 5-2
*Vermont at Denver, 9:30, FSRM DU 3-2
*Merrimack at North Dakota, 8:30, FSSN UND 6-3

    Saturday, October 10
*UMass-Lowell vs. Army/Nebraska-Omaha (Ice Breaker, Omaha), 5/8:00 UML 6-2 vs Army or 3-1 vs UNO
*Maine at Union, 7:00 2-2 tie
*New Hampshire at Rensselaer, 7:00 UNH 4-3
*Northeastern at Colorado College, 9:00 CC 3-2
*Vermont at Denver, 9:00 4-4 tie
*Merrimack at North Dakota, 8:00, FSSN UND 3-2
*Holy Cross at Providence, 7:00, CoxTV PC 3-1

If you could, that would be awesome. Do you agree this should be a practice round since a) its late notice and b) it might be new for a lot of people I really can't remember how we did the scoring... anyone?

If I don't do well in the first week, it should be a practice round.

    I don't remember the scoring...

I think it was: 1 point for predicting w/l correctly, 2 points for predicting a tie correctly and an extra point for the correct score. If not, well, it sounds good to me, so lets go with it!

Thanks for offering! I usually posted the results and had people email me if there were any mistakes (which of course there were )
