    No, but he is a visionary.

    Wow - I'm honored!!! Only thing, i was just making a statement and not suggesting a thread title or else i would have put it in the proper form for Ralph. Now let's just hope we can keep our EYES on the prize! Surely we all hope to SEE the boys in Lake Placid! We should not have to wait long for things to be LOOKING up!!

    On a separate USCHO thread about college hockey uniforms (see "Uniform Watch?") a fan advertised a rather remarkable website with a massive collection of college hockey jerseys for sale. Relevant to the discussion of losing players on the the last thread: for just $275, you can have this piece of RPI history https://www.johnsonsjerseys.net/hock...pi38_18r_b.jpg

    I like the title, although our hindsight is probably better than our foresight..

    Two good articles, I assume by sezenack, on the Red Army website about RPI's newest recruits.

    I have read both articles, and as I said in a recent post, I no longer have expectations on recruits. I only hope that they will make us more competitive when they arrive.
    What are we going to do with four goalies next season? Have we given full scholarships to all four?
    I've got to believe that someone is leaving. Does anyone have any insight on next years goalie situation?
    Finally, a game this weekend.

    I very highly doubt that all are on full scholarship. With a total of 18 allowed, a total of two are typically given to goalies. That does not preclude there being other forms of aid.

    Followed by these beauties...

    "RPI was once recognized as a successful, competitive D1 hockey program....even shocking the world by winning not one but two national championships." and;

    " Until recently, the RPI Pep Band was known and celebrated throughout the college hockey landscape as a shining example of what a pep band can do for a hockey program....when they are actually allowed to play music..."

    I have no insights....but would bet a ham sandwich that Marshall will depart in the office season, if not sooner. If he wants to continue playing hockey, why would he stay ?

But we got to see teams that otherwise would never had come to Troy whether it be from Canada or the rest of our own country. Could care less if it was held in November or December. I am sure there were reasons given for cancelling but it was a big part of the program and we felt a stake driven through the program with it's demise.

    I was just thinking about the tournament last night. My first experience with RPI hockey was the 1973 tournament. Without looking it up I think it was Dartmouth, Ohio State and BU. A kids dream with 6 hours of hockey for 3 straight nights. After that I was hooked and several families had season tickets together up until 2014. A great 40 year run with some great memories. Now, I still go to a few games but it's just not that much fun.
