Engineers gave it a good push, just couldn't put the puck in the net.
Good game against a very good team.
Those who would give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety.

Normally we are not a good team with the extra man at the end of the game. Over the past few years we have given up more empty net goals than I care to remember and rarely kept up any sustained pressure in the offensive zone at the end. Tonight we showed that we can put on that last minute effort and keep the puck in the zone and make for some very exciting last minute chances. The boys did not give up, this one could have been tied up several times. But we only had that chance thanks to some Savory magic as he just flat out robbed Clarkson late in the third period.
Impression after this weekend is that we have a much more competitive team than the last couple years and that if we can just gain a bit more experience and with some luck could surprise a whole bunch of people
Take the shortest distance to the puck and arrive in ill humor
FINAL: @ClarksonMHockey 2, @RPI_Hockey 1 | This is a good bench marker for where the program is heading | Played a top ten team to a 2-1 game, had chances to tie it less than 1:30 remaining, were able to battle back after a 2 goal first period, this is a positive loss #RPIHockey
