Or the alternative is to listen when people tell you that one item voting is a bad idea, just like it always has been.

And donít ignore information that is in your face that something is wrong. Ignoring it to get your guns, tax breaks, and/or deregulation does not change that.

None of this is new. Some of you choose to overlook it. Thank you very much.

Holy Crud. The GOP dude questioning the Ambassador just declared he was "shocked that this person [some dude that wrote an op ed about a policy tRrump, as a candidate, was espousing] would be using social media to air negative comments about a candidate." Here by myself but wish someone was here to laugh with. He said it in a completely serious tone. Every fiber of my body was wishing she would have made a comment about how shocking indeed.... How do these people say this stuff without bursting into fits of giggles. That is so absurd.

By Drew's own admission of no longer being a Republican, it's clearly had more of an effect than you're giving credit. Or would you now like a tower built of entirely soapboxes?

Wait, was it the Ambassador who wrote the op-ed or another person altogether?

Re: POTUS 45.61: All Are Welcome to Watch This Circus

Was reading the CNN updates and came across this:

"Aides from the Trump campaign and the Republican National Committee have been amplifying a moment from Marie Yovanovitch's hearing when Chairman Adam Schiff cut off GOP Rep. Elise Stefanikís attempt to get in a line of questioning during the ranking member Rep. Devin Nunesí time.

Stefanik's question was a clear violation of the rules that nonetheless created a moment Republicans are promoting.

Top House Republicans had expressed a desire to see Stefanik, considered a rising GOP star, take the opportunity provided by her presence at these public hearings to step further into the spotlight. Her performance is already starting to generate praise in conservative media as well."

Whenever the Beltway Media anoints some Republican a "rising star" they are fuking doomed! Its akin to having Scooby rooting for you. Look for Stefanik to be booted out on her azz by voters next election.

Not likely. She represents the North Country of NY, north of Albany all the way up to Canada. Think Clarkson and St. Lawrence.

Normally I'd agree, but being anointed a rising star = doom. Maybe she goes out in some bizarre sex scandal or they find rubles in her campaign account, but I had a quarter for every GOP rising star that goes down in flames I'd be 10 bucks shy of being a Republican myself.

Rover still thinks Liz Cheney is doomed (the last GOP woman to be called "rising star"). She's doing just fine.

I'm tired of people complaining about what is going on when they have contributed to it, directly or indirectly, mostly because of poor reasons.

Sorry if that makes you upset with me, but deal with it.

Upset with you? No. Calling you out as myopic and stuck looking in the rearview mirror? Yes.

    Deal with it.

Given how people votes have actually hurt people, I honestly have no problem hurting someone's feelings about their vote. Maybe they will remember that they were stupid.

You're wrong. See, if you make a stupid mistake once, you are forever stupid. There's no coming back from that. Ever. You cannot learn from a mistake. You cannot better yourself. You're just stupid.
Never really developed a taste for tequila. Kind of hard to understand how you make a drink out of something that sharp, inhospitable. Now, bourbon is easy to understand.

Drew may say he's no longer Republican. But when push comes to shove, when it comes time for him to choose Warren or Biden over Trump, he's either voting Trump, or leaving that spot blank.

Down ballot, he's R all the way.

Given what you see right now, will you vote the guy out of office or not? Which means if you complain about it, and don't vote for the opposition that actually has a chance to win, yes, you are stupid.

This isn't hard. And it was very predicted.

I was a libertarian once. People change. They grow older, have experiences, learn things. Most of us come out of the shoot as either perfect replicas or perfect opposites of our parents. We do not even begin to become ourselves until we're in our 30s and even then it is a long journey of unlearning assumptions which many people barely even start.

Drew seems like a guy who used to believe dumb stuff and who learned better and now wants to fight the monstrous thing he helped bring into being. Maybe it's only two cheers, not three, but WELCOME COME ON IN AND BRING YOUR VOTE!

Someone else. I think we were supposed to be upset because someone gave an opinion that refuted the 'logic' (I know this is incorrect word in connection with the fearless leader) was using to discuss how we shouldn't intervene in Crimea.

    Clarkson sucks more?

Listened to most of the hearings. The GOP 'logic' seems transparently illogical and foolish but looking at the comments on some of the live feeds makes me think Darwin was wrong. Either the bots were churning out things at an amazing rate or there are inordinate amount of incredibly stupid people buying whatever was sold. Made me want to set up a website to sell swampland in DC (or maybe start a new University and name it tRump U).

I am not sure why the elephant is the sign of the GOP. I think it should be a "SQUIRREL!!!!" Some of the stuff they were bringing up was really weird but the comments from the troglodytes had them following along like they were reading a script.
