This is nonsense, Scooby. Bernie could have done it right by joining the Dems, but he had to stick it out as Comrade Independent. That was a big mistake and it cost us -- had he been a little less purist and a little more forward-thinking he could have saved us the Hillary nomination and the Dump presidency.

Bernie didn't lose the Presidency, Hillary did. Nader ****ed Gore right up the ***.

Ralph Nader is a fraud and a fuking idiot. Anybody who went around, as he did, saying there was no difference between the Dems and the GOP in the Gore vs Bush contest needs to be beaten senseless. How much better off would this country be had Gore won, just because he had no reason to do the absolute worst acts of the Bush Presidency (Iraq War, Tax Cuts for billionaires, torture, etc). Yeah yeah yeah 50 years ago I'm sure he was a solid consumer advocate, but he used up that currency and then some a looooong time ago.

Nader in Florida ****ed us to the point where the Supreme Court has 4 justices selected by guys who lost the popular vote who have or will push our country back a century. Citizens United, Gerrymandering, Roe, etc. All gone or soon to be because Dems needed perfection.

There's no argument that it went terribly wrong. Intent and consequence are two different things. I'm not going to bother explaining this point further.

His intent doesnt matter. No one is saying he didnt have good intentions...but he also knew what running as a third party candidate involved and he knew who it would hurt the most.

                          Read This

He knew what he was doing, hell he WELCOMED IT! He assumed that if he helped Gore lose it would be the "Come to Jesus" moment for the Dems (sound familiar) and guess what, like always, that wasnt the truth. Now some (we dont need to name names) will say that is because of the Billionaire Globalist Conspiracy or whatever...but it doesnt matter. The guy figured Bush winning would push the Dems Left, it didnt happen and this country has never recovered. He thought he was playing 3D chess and in reality he screwed everyone.

The same game was tried in Florida when Rick Scott ran for Governor and it was a disaster. All the people who whined that "Both sides are the same!" got bent over a barrel when Rick Scott took office winning by just over 1%.

I voted for Nader (in MN so it didnt matter) and honestly I wish he had just shut up and stayed home. If he had the country would be in a much better position, more people would be alive, climate change wouldnt even be debated and the Supreme Court would be Left. But hey, he got to tell us how Gore was a fraud...yippie.

                            edit: Proof:

Other names mentioned in the story as potential Democrats that at least some in the party are pining for included former first lady Michelle Obama, who has repeatedly ruled out a run for office, and Sen. Sherrod Brown (D-Ohio), who has also said he would not run for president.
They arent even hiding they are pulling crap out of their butt. They threw Clinton in to try and cover their butts for what they did to her in 2016.
