Wasn't it just a few months ago you said Biden was losing it and you couldn't vote for him?

I'll admit, I've had those moments too. But now that it's increasingly clear he won't be the nominee, I'm less worried about confronting that scenario.

What I want and what will happen are two different things.

Edit: I think he'll be the nominee. I wish that weren't the case.
Never really developed a taste for tequila. Kind of hard to understand how you make a drink out of something that sharp, inhospitable. Now, bourbon is easy to understand.

Not a chance. He has had zero upward movement he is stuck at his normal number. When it comes down to 2 candidates he is toast. Unless that other candidate is Andrew Yang or Tulsi Gabbardev

            It's two. Bernie's dead.

Which means it's Warren unless the Illuminati get involved and the last three years have made it really hard to believe in them.

With Warren we win and we might romp to huge majorities.

With Biden it will be a Norris Division slog all the way to Election Day, though obviously we are still in it.

Nope. Just pushing the narrative that Putin wants him to push.

I can't think of a worse candidate to go up against Trump. Maybe Hickenlooper or another one of the also rans, but......

I hope you are right... but I suspect Warren faces the same fate as Hillary. The "Pocahontas thing" will resonate with the deplorables and bring them out in force. Her farther left positions wont bring in the swing voters in PA, MI and WI that we need to flip them back...

I wish we were seeing the Biden of 2012...

I think the correct analogy to Hillary is Biden, albeit in a much lesser way. They are both centrists who turn their backs on the energy coming from the younger more liberal rising Democratic wave and thus reduce our voter pool. They both turn a lot of people off by churning out the old, tired Terry McAuliffe centrist Corporate Dem DNC messaging. They both "play old." Warren and Sanders are older than dirt but they play young, Hillary and Biden are like watching the paint dry.

But I don't want to overstate it. The Echo Chamber literally had 25 years to churn up base hatred against Hillary. Biden OTOH was until recently quite invisible on the GOP Slander Charts. There's nothing like the kind of pent up hatred against him that there was for Hillary. She was a thousand year flood. The only way the GOP is lucking into that kind of thing again is if we nominate Jane Fonda.

I think Biden can grind out a 50/50 win assuming he can survive vote suppression, electoral fraud, and the botski tsunami. But in a 50/50 outcome there is likely a freeze to status quo numbers in the House and Senate and so, for example, we get 4 or 8 years without any legislation, without a SCOTUS nominee, and with the same grinding depression that makes people angry and desperate enough to reach for a Dump in frustration. Not healthy.
