Even though it was obviously a joke and even though in the atmosphere of professional performers that is less than nothing and even though it was a cynical exploitation by a Republican operative, he still did it.       This is as opposed to Biden which is just a lie like the Birthers.

          The photo is the real problem because its existence gives everything weight. The rest was really sketchy. You could sink anybody on those kind of allegations. For an individual person it's less of a big deal because the most likely reason for a spate of accusations, not knowing about each other, is truth. But for a public figure, with each allegation reported, every police department can tell you the second A story hits the news 100 people suddenly "remember" the same thing happening to them. Mix in politics with a reasonable assumption of animus and cui bono and it becomes really dicey.

          If it hadn't been for the photo I'd have been behind Franken saying "this is BS" and staying.

            A picture of him not touching someone who was wearing a flak jacket over her breasts showed juvenile humor and nothing more.

            You're sounding like Gilibrand right now.

                Yeah and considering the things that were done on that tour a fake picture is nothing. Christ there is video of said woman dry humping people on stage but a picture of Franken pretending to cop a feel is somehow too much for her? Please...

                Franken may be a skeev but that picture doesnt prove it.

                (I am not discounting the other accusers just this specific one)

                      The actress on the tour with Franken wasn’t even upset with him, the pic was just used by others for their own purposes.
