Perhaps she may not be able to reach Lovisa's level but, I could see her having a nice career, like the RIT goalie Tara L.

Just read that Lovisa had 47 saves in the Pride game against the Whitecaps...that’s some serious saves!

Since I just spent about 15 minutes looking for her stats, here is her game-by-game log https://pride.nwhl.zone/stats#/player/431620 (click the goalie game log link). that is a .954 save percentage overall. Her GAA (1.71), save percentage (.954), and wins (5) lead the league, not counting her teammate Victoria Hanson who has only played 19:40. https://www.nwhl.zone/stats#/100/lea...vision_id=8088

Hopefully this will quiet the posters who questioned the awards she received last year.

Copied & pasted from my post in the D1 scores thread:

"Goaltending is clearly not RPI's problem as they were lucky to tie Holy Cross 2-2 with HC dominating RPI in shots by more than double....52-23. RPI is in serious trouble this season. Very sad to see."

                Actually, a short season.

It was good to see that RPI was able to score two goals, at least compared to the previous games, but it looks like the second period was quite poor based upon the shots on goal.

First time this year that I have that the opportunity to watch a full game. Given the negative comments about this year's team (from me, as well) pleasantly surprised with the level of compete against SLU, so far. Leading 1-0 after one period and looking good.

Good game by the Engineers tonight! Ignore the shot stats, they were very competitive with SLU from start to finish, and I did not expect that. Quite impressed with Severson and Nystrom.

Dropping two one-goal games this weekend to SLU and Clarkson was a positive step forward for this team. 100% improvement in their offense (non-existent until now). They have figured out how to move the puck across the opponents blue line when they encounter strong checking. Spent a fair amount of time in Clarkson's zone today, more than the 19 shots would indicate.

We looked decent for long stretched today, but the third period looked like an unending penalty kill from the moment we took the lead until Clarkson took over.

Agreed. I am not at all suggesting that this one-goal loss to Clarkson means that we are in the same league. But before last weekend I would have predicted that RPI and Union would be battling for last place, I now think this team has a shot (maybe 30% ?) at making the playoffs.
