    Mookie

    Did you catch the wedding??

@briebriejoy: @AmericanAir I literally flew to Bahrain to attend a black tie wedding in espadrilles. And now you don't want to pay for a hotel room.

Other acceptable options: refund my points. Give me more than a $12 airport food voucher.

Also, same for all the other passengers.

    mookie is in Bahrain?

mookie have you ever played netball at the British Club or disco at The Warbler or Tobasco Charlie's? I used to order 2 shawarmas and coke from the Iskenderun Grills (not sure why they pluralized 'grill') delivered to the house for around a dinar back in the day. Oh man the Thai Club, Hash House have great food. Also the ladies serving lunch at the Gulf Hotel were always top notch at the poolside restaurant as were the Indian and Mexican restaurants within. Is Sheik's beach still open to select expats?

Not sure I ever will go back but that was a good year.

I should try the schawarma at Ansari's sometime. Sounds delicious.
Never really developed a taste for tequila. Kind of hard to understand how you make a drink out of something that sharp, inhospitable. Now, bourbon is easy to understand.

Bern and Pete tops in fundraising.

When they eventually drop out, they should both tour the country to raise more money for the nominee.

Boy to see "Socialist" Bernie put his money where his mouth it and perform such an obvious socialist act would be asking too much, wouldn't it?

Bernie should do what he did in 2016 but he won't because he's a socialist err something something.

No he shouldnt do what he did in 2016...if he ends up on the outside looking in he should bow out gracefully and endorse. Oh and not pout at the convention

My dad reminds me of Bernie more and more each day just a cranky old man...well minus the hair

Once again holding Bernie to a different standard than abuela in 2008 where she said she was staying in the race in case the black guy got shot.

I called for Hillary to step down too. (on here even) When it is over it is over just admit it and back the winner. The longer you wait the worse you look and the more it divides people. If you have no path to victory be an adult and tip your cap and start stumping for the winner.

Agreed. And not when it's over; bad criteria. It should be when it's effectively over. The nominee shouldn't need it locked up for the other candidates to combine their warchests and elect the nominee. Call it 75% locked up. Which should happen around March or April at the latest. Get out, circle the wagons, and win.

Seriously? And Bernie is how old? You're ready to canonize the guy and he's not even dead yet.

Him staying in the race late had zero affect on her chances of winning lol.

That doesn't have to do with her age. It's a reference to an article on her campaign website that stated she was "just like your abuela."

Well, ďit divides peopleĒ, kinda implies that. As if people werenít already divided and the Bernie vs establishment thing didnít/doesnít break down along class lines more or less. Either way he hadnít lost yet so there was no reason to bow out.

The weird thing being the socialists are the educated/wealthy/white Democrats and the centrists are the uneducated/poor/POC Democrats.

I actually disagree with this insomuch as his failure to really get behind her after he was out had an impact. This is not be blaming him per se - Hillary was her own worst enemy on her own, but there was an unlucky confluence of events that all contributed to her demise.
