I'm just of a mind that while venting, please try not to cast aspersions that include those of us here who've been supportive. No, I can't relate to most of what she's gone through in her life these past number of years, but she has my sympathies. At the same time, I'm not interested in being lumped in with the Morlocks.
"The party told you to reject the evidence of your eyes and ears. It was their final, most essential command." George Orwell, 1984

"One does not simply walk into Mordor. Its Black Gates are guarded by more than just Orcs. There is evil there that does not sleep, and the Great Eye is ever watchful. It is a barren wasteland, riddled with fire and ash and dust, the very air you breathe is a poisonous fume." Boromir

"Good news! We have a delivery." Professor Farnsworth

Yeah, it's almost as if social perceptions have their own momentum and can be unfair.

5000 years of male domination over women resulting in rape and murder: "I don't even see gender."

5 seconds of female backlash against men resulting in snark: "THIS ATROCITY WILL NOT STAND!!!!"

Nothing is infinite. We are in a hinge cultural period. We'll probably live our whole lives in it. But it's a blink compared to the eons women have had to endure. In a hundred years assuming Dump hasn't destroyed Earth our descendants will laugh at our cultural preoccupations and have moved on to something else. But for us... "may you live in interesting times."

Love or hate him, Louis CK has some great comments on this from his Being White bit. "I don't want to go to the future and find out what happens to white people...".

I always find it interesting that the people who think minorities have it just as good as everyone else are the ones so deathly afraid of becoming the minority.

Yes, but she's rarely targeting specific posters for harassment like Flaggy and Foxton did, and how rufus is now with Rube.

You need to check out the twitter feed of Center for Medical Progress (@CMP). They're following and tweeting the preliminary hearing on the PP undercover video case.

Former AG Kamala Harris may have overreached just a bit.

And if that doesn't bother you, consider this article on lulz.com. I hope to heck it's wrong, but if not, it's sickening.

A pro life site referenced the article wherein the writers referenced a reddit site. The alleged reddit site topic is disturbing.

The NYT today tweeted (subsequently deleted) that airplanes brought down the Twin Towers. They have ceased being a paper where all the news that's fit to print.

While I read the WaPoo each AM, it is with a jaundiced eye recognizing that their sole goal is to topple the current administration. They're so focused on tD, they're ignoring the locals.

Yeah, gotcha. Lulz.com and a ďpro life siteĒ are sooooo much better.

Oh for god's sake, joe. Is there anything you won't fall for?

I do my best to defend you as a rational being with reasoned thought processes albeit from faulty data, but... c'mon son. That right there is Flaggy worthy.

You can always find someone into something ****ed up. This article presents it as if it is something mainstream among the hip younger crowd. What a load of rubbish.

Almost as sickening as the concept of forcing a rape victim to carry her attackers child to term.

You do know not everything is true on the internet, right? You probably should have your internet privileges revoked before you fall victim to a ďNigerian princeĒ scam.
