What is wrong with you two thickens... the game is one and you are both worried more about your objectives stats and how you can twist to further and agenda. Both agendas are going nowhere. Put your brain into watching the championship... you two wankers.

By the time this championship is over you will have a primer on how to embellish a hit to the head, "trainer, rub his neck until the call is made". Turning into soccer for petes sake.

Throw in another title game appearance and you are looking at something that has only been accomplished four times, and not since the 1970s (i.e. 3 titles and 4 title game appearances in a decade).

Now, just because you reach "blue blood" status doesn't mean it is permanent. For example, only the insane would have argued Tech wasnt a blue blood in 1980. They slipped significantly in the following decades, and now are in that second tier.
Much like Nebraska Football is no longer a Blue Blood.

                I think you can

                Case in point. Minnesota football
That community is already in the process of dissolution where each man begins to eye his neighbor as a possible enemy, where non-conformity with the accepted creed, political as well as religious, is a mark of disaffection; where denunciation, without specification or backing, takes the place of evidence; where orthodoxy chokes freedom of dissent; where faith in the eventual supremacy of reason has become so timid that we dare not enter our convictions in the open lists, to win or lose.

I would probably liken it to the Ivy's or Minnesota for football. Although, you could certainly make an argument for Nebraska.

If Minnesota became a blue blood in 1979, BC became one after the 2008 title.

FWIW, that was going to be my next comparison to Minnesota in 1979 achieving blue blood status. BU probably got there by 1978.

I actually meant 1995 when they won their fourth but I had the years mixed up. Haha

This game is barely competitive. Not a fun Championship game. Holding out hope that UMass does the unimaginable in the 3rd period.
