    Helsen - 5
    Herrman - 9
    Kjellberg - 4
    Klee - 2
    Mahshie - 14

I did this based on their number(s) in juniors. If that number wasn't available, I just guessed with something close.
Mashie is what old-time golfers used to call a five iron.

    I guess 1 plus 4 equals 5.

Today is 18 July 2019. There are 79 days until RPI's next game.

This is based upon 5 October 2019 for the start of next season.

Brad Tapper wore 52. I know that was a special situation, but a number in the 50s has been done.

For those who may not know, Vanderklok is the goaltending coach for the Nashville Preds.

That does not contradict my statement.

Insert “storied program” and “outstanding academics” into a combo thesaurus/quote generator 9 times and you’ll get that press release. Of course, the coaches would probably stick to cliches as well (hard worker, aggressive, excellent skater, great in the room, etc.) but, hopefully, they can mix them up a bit better.

I'd rather have the coaches spend their time building the program back to national relevance again. Seems meaningless what is said about incoming freshmen on a website anyway - they need to write their own story over the next four years.

I guess they are posting one of these per day.

                        +1. Couldn't agree more.

C’mon. It’s a press release in July. It won’t take more than an hour of the coach’s time. If the only thing that’s relevant is the story they’ll tell over the next 4 years then let’s skip the release or just publish a list. Then we’ll hear even more whining that “they don’t know how to market or even care about the program.” I guess Perry just can’t win.

If they can manage to get the current roster with the current schedule on the site before the first game, it'll be progress

Although I have been whining about it, the recruit release came out about the time that it usually does:

                              07/17/19
                              06/27/18
                              06/26/17
                              07/14/16
                              05/19/15
                              06/12/14
                              07/15/13
                              07/19/12
                              07/25/11
                              05/24/10
                              05/06/09

                              06/13/05

Or another perspective...it came out just a week before some of the latest in the last 15 years?
