Today actually went pretty ok. It was tough at first when we saw him in the church. My mom was a bit overwhelmed in a positive way think at the amount of people that came. It really was a nice crowd. The biggest hiccup, if you can call it that, was the traffic when we went to and from the cemetery. Took forever to get back to the church for the dinner. We’re all pretty tired. So mentally draining. All back here at my mom’s eating leftovers from what people brought us this week, which was so nice. Going to sleep a lot this weekend.

Knowing you, you will get through this without a hitch. You're not exactly one who crumbles under stress, despite some of your posts here. We're all there for you, Scarlet, if not in person, we are in spirit.
Never really developed a taste for tequila. Kind of hard to understand how you make a drink out of something that sharp, inhospitable. Now, bourbon is easy to understand.

                      Mornin', Lodge.

Drab, rainy, blah day today, and looks like the same for tomorrow. Now I won't feel guilty about vegging out and watching movies all weekend.

Stopped by the corner store today, and one of the owners was there. Talked about the upcoming Anniv party, volunteer sign-ups were sent out this week (what station do you want to work at, etc). He flat out said, "You are doing bottle/merch sales, I'll make sure of that. Can't think of anyone more suited or more knowledgeable for that station." I'm pumped for that. It was a blast last year, cannot wait for this year.
