Just a few extra hours to put in.

Meanwhile, my belly is getting big and when people ask how I'm feeling the standard response is "fat and pregnant". 40 days to due date, we'll see when the little one gets here.
I, too, am fat, and irritated that I let myself get this way again. That said, I've recently started a new diet, and am on my way to reversing the trend. I only have about 65lbs to drop this time, not the 135 I had to drop last time.

My mom came up over the weekend and we had a baby shower with her family. It was a lot of fun, the dragon qulit my aunt made is awesome, the diaper castle made by a different aunt was also awesome. The Spartan fan aunt also made a bunch of burp clothes with Michigan fabric, to which her husband (who may work for Spartan Sports Network), said was a good use of Michigan fabric...something to get covered in baby puke.
She also made a pretty cool car seat cover out of the Michigan fabric.
Wait til people start telling you you have to be due soon because you can't get any bigger. I heard that starting at about 24 weeks. my reply was "watch me!"

    Good Morning Lodge!

Packing and getting things together to head back to the floating hotel. Hard to think 5 weeks off has passed by, but back to my usual 4 week schedules this go around. Would still take another 2 weeks off, going back this time has been much harder on me than normal the past week or so.

The things that get said to pregnant women are appalling, honestly. And, people around babies make me lose my $hit! In other words...I continue to be annoyed by most of my species.

Agreed on preggo commentary. It gets really personal. It's like THEY are having the baby.
Never really developed a taste for tequila. Kind of hard to understand how you make a drink out of something that sharp, inhospitable. Now, bourbon is easy to understand.

    Good Morning, Lodge!

Staying home today. Mainly due to the fact that the tree in my front yard will more than likely will be losing a couple of branches. One is blocking me in the driveway. Hubby was barely able to get out.

I've passed virtually all of their Mississippi River fleet over the years. But yes, very expensive line to sail on.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 200 - End of Season

Evening, Lodge. Anything south/southwest of the Twin Cities area was basically closed today, so work was slow. It wasn't the snow, it was the wind. Some parts had zero visibility. Add to that, on and off sleet all day. Roads were not good. Even in the metro/north, winds were bad, but roads were still open. There was a low hum I heard all day near 494/Carlson Pkwy. Thought it was a plane at first. Nope. The wind was making that noise, and the hum was coming from the corridor created by the sound wall on 494.

    Good Evening Lodge!
Booooo! {Provicid is out. This last game is ridiculous. 3 Majors already.

I spent the day at a conference. I hate when the you know more than the speaker. First time in a long time I have felt the level of Speaker was not high enough to learn anything. And it weren't cheap. However-- CEUs in the bank.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 200 - End of Season

Howdy Lodge peeps. Went to the Red Sox game ton. First one since my dad passed. Was a little weird. The Sox have been playing like crap so far this season and when Toronto jumped out to a 5-0 lead, I figured it was just par for the course. Then they tied it up, lost the lead agin, the won in the bottom of the 9th!! Needed that. Both me and the Red Sox.

Got home and am able to catch the OT of the Denver UMass game. Not a bad day.
