I'd like to see it again but here's the rule: (83.6)


If a defending player has been pushed, shoved, or fouled by an
attacking player and this action causes the defending player to come
into contact with the goalkeeper, such contact shall be deemed initiated
by the attacking player. If necessary a penalty shall be assessed to the
attacking player and if a goal is scored it would be disallowed.

Next year its all Granato recruits for the most part. One senior (Zimmer) other than goalies. Have to make the NCAA's.

Making it in next year should be the minimum. We can't have these constant up-and-downs. Teams will have occasional stinkers, but the Badgers had some of them right after some really good games.

Next year it's got to be "All balls out, All the time."

They are kinda his because he didn't jettison them like the other players.

OZ says in the post game that if the 4 on 1 happened with next year's players that's in the net. That kinda hurts, I don't like throwing these guys under the bus.

So close to getting it done a handful of times. Can't believe how many minutes Kalynuk, Ess, Inamoto, and Emberson logged the last three days. Played with what is essentially 4.5 D for three games in three days. It was a heck of an effort by all the boys today, just came up a little short.

Played some pretty good games down the stretch here and hopefully got a little mojo going for next year.

I had a feeling we wouldn't see Miller at all after his injury. We ALL know he's not ready for the NHL, but could his agent, errrr I mean "family advisor" get in his head?

"You know K'Andre, you could get injured in college next year and set you way back, but if you're in the system
(AHL) and get injured, you're getting paid and taken care of."

I agree. But. That 4 on 1 was brutal. A shot like that at that angle? Looked like something a bantam team would do.

Obviously anything can happen, especially if a kid isn't happy in school or whatever, but I don't think there's any way that anybody gets in K'Andre's head. Emberson is one of his best friends on and off the ice, and they have every reason to believe they're going to have a lot of success next year. They know Turcotte, Lindmark and Caufield from the NDTP personally and know what kind of impact they can have. K'Andre knows he has a lot of work to do to develop his game to the NHL level and he's in the right place to do that. After a year here, every one of these kids also now knows what it will mean to bring back winning ways to Wisconsin. I think they're pretty committed to doing that. I'd be more shocked than I was at Ranta falling out if K'Andre wasn't back here next year.

I missed that but it's true that if Cole Caufield is around any of a half dozen pucks tonight, they wind up in the back of the net and this game turns into a blowout. I'm not knocking the boys here, they all have their own talents that we need, but goal scoring just isn't highest on the list as a group. And for Caufield it is, as he's just a ridiculous goal scorer.
