Early rounds today, DrD? Hope you brought a flashlight. It's still dark in the Capital District. But you're looking for the right thing.

Normally, I wouldn't get too excited about last nights win. Colgate is not a very good hockey team.
But without Hayhurst and Polino, we showed some grit and determination. I liked that. It didn't hurt that Savory kept us in the game.
He is beginning to look like a top notch goal tender.
Tonight will be a much greater challenge, but we are playing well, so there is chance to come out of it with a win.

    Lets go red!!!!!!!!!!!

Big underdog and the odds show it. 77% to 14% against us for a win with predicted score of 3-1 most likely. Over and under is just under 4.5 goals total. Honestly think if we were totally healthy that we match up fairly well with Cornell and they are indeed a top team. But we have to win the majority of face offs especially deep in each zone and our defense has to be able to make quick decisions and get us out of our zone before the fore check can arrive.

Hey RB if the listings for starting the thread are by total points, why is my 25 points listed below those with 23 points? If it is by total wins, then Jericho and Fishcore need to be positioned differently. What is the criteria used for the list? Just sayin' ......

I assume that you mean in the women's game. If it were the men's game, I would be speechless. (Of course, I would still type, so no one here would know the difference. )

Unhappily Cornell's defenceman injuries continue: Brendan Smith out again. Joe Leahy in.
