My post is merely saying that Presidents deal with a LOT more issues (especially in the global sense) than senators. There's where the additional issues come in, and if/when she decides to run, she'll face questions that she probably hasn't faced before. Only when that happens, will we see if she's ready for the big show.
How does that make her more detrimentally different from the majority of the candidates?

The Comments on this, at least as of 11:30 am Monday, are reasonable, insightful, and even-keeled. It might be time for the Republicans to worry. Putin's Operation Chaos may not work this time.

Nobody is ready to run for president the first time. It's sui generis. That kid from South Bend might be the best candidate. We won't know until we see them play it out. Same with Klobuchar.

Unknowns are no reason to oppose. We instinctively see a large field and try to create discriminators, but this early we should just sit back and let the information come in unfiltered and without having set up favorites. Preserve autonomy for as long as possible, because after you start making distinctions your unconscious biases will turn you into an idiot who is rooting, not thinking.

That is the great lesson of 2016. They're not prospective dates, they're tools in the shed. Eventually we'll pick one for the job, but all the power of picking should come from us being logical, independent judges, not fans.

Given how close all of those are in Iowa it furthers the point that just about anyone could beat Trump nationally.

And Iowa is a border state.

This is why I like candidates that are former governors. At least you have an idea of how they'll handle the top executive position.

You mean like when W handed all the power over to the VP? Boy, that was a good one. We really knew what was going to happen there.
