  • Brown @ RPI 1-25-19

Can RPI show they are turning this season around? Just as important, can I get my three-peat? Betting people in the know have this one just about even 48% Brown to 40% RPI win chance with an over and under of 5.5 goals. Most common predicted score is a 3-3 tie. Go RED!!! If we win this one I promise to get up early tomorrow and start the next thread.

Will this one be shown on RPI TV tonight? As of this morning it is not listed. This year there has been more limited access to watching and listening to RPI men's hockey than in a very long time. Hope this is just a little glitch.

We haven't had any problems with home games on RPI TV yet this year, so I am going to guess that we will get video.
How is your recovery going? I bet a win tonight will make you feel better.

Good luck on the three-peat. I wonder when the last one was.

Couldn’t answer about Dr. D, but for RPI it was 12/11, 12/12/15 and 1/2/16 against ASU (twice) and Miami of Ohio. The last time against ECAC teams was 1/10, 1/16 and 1/17/15 vs. Princeton, Colgate and Cornell.

I was really asking about the last time that any poster got three wins in a row. The three in the 2015-16 season were started by three posters. The Princeton poster did not start either of the others in 2015, although CU and CU were started by the same poster.

RB: Not sure but I thought Hockeyhound might have the last 3 peat. RedCould also might have had 3 wins in a row but could have been fro 3 games played fairly far apart in time. Brown presents a difficult problem for us as we just seem to have trouble solving their packed in defensive posture in front of their net.

Thanks for asking. Actually doing far better than i expected. The trick was getting out of the hospital quickly as most bad things occur the longer you stay in. I am fortunate to have my own personal nurse at home who was trained way back when nurses provided the best post surgical care and attention. Jenny had me up and out of bed walking 4 hours after surgery!
Side note-found it fascinating that when I was an intern in the hospital years ago, the nurses were all 3 times my age, wore their hair up in tight buns, wore sterile looking white stockings and all looked like nurse Ratchet! Now as a patient, they were all 1/3 my age, wore scrubs and had their hair down and most looked like little super models. Where were these hotties 50 years ago?

The hockey team twitter account thinks both WRPI and RPI-TV are broadcasting the game.

With the women's game (at Yale) scheduled to start in 5 minutes I thought I would get LiveStats loaded up. What!? It shows the game already over, with Yale winning 3-2! But wait a minute, RPI goals were from Gilmour and Gleekel. Don't they play for the St.Lawrence men's team? I guess I'll assume that the game hasn't started yet and hope that Livestats gets sorted out before its over.

That has happened before. Just recently, the BU-QU men's game was replaced by an earlier BU-UNH game. It was eventually fixed.
