Re: Maine v New Hampshire
Good for you e.cat for starting this! UNH hits the Alfond with a 6-1-1 record in their last 8 games....Maine kills BC the other night...only 1 pt. separates them from each other in HE points...hoping for a classic coz HR is making the trek and expects an epic game! As a gesture of good faith, I have 2 additional tickets given to me by a fan who can't make it...up for grabs if anyone (it's ok if it's a Maine fan.... ) wants them! The big q is: which team is gonna show up? Go 'Cats!!!!I'm just here for the hockey...

Alfond always a tough place to play and these two teams seem to be evenly matched. Advantage Maine on this one but we'll see!
Have fun!UNH Hockey: You can check out any time you like but you can never leave!

Re: Maine v New Hampshire
Maine lost two games at home to NU before defeating BC at Conte Forum. I expect this to be a close game and I think Maine has the edge. Perhaps a tie or Maine wins in OT. However, with Maine you never know which team will show up.

Re: Maine v New Hampshire
Could be a big 2 points down the road for either team, UNH playing well and Maine in a usual up/down and like many others: wonder what team shows up for Maine...use to be Alfond Arena was the Ace in the hole...but no more. Maine keys imo, Swayman best player on the ice, the dreaded stay out of the box and finally will the whole team buy into team defense/ blocking shots and making the passing lanes hard as heck. Hopefully Maine is looking only in tomorrows game and not the next tough upcoming series versus UMass this weekend.
