There's a metric * ton of Federal employees in Alaska, things like air travel can are going to negatively affected if folks like ATC or TSA start calling in sick more and more.

Plus we still have thousands of homes needing repair from a 7.0 earthquake that will be relying on Federal disaster relief to get done.

Is FEMA affected? I hadn't thought about that.

The Chris Wallace wing (which includes Shepard Smith) continues to vie for power at Fox News. Shepard went on a fact check on Trump after his speech. It did not go well for the president:
