Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 199 - Dumb Poll of the Month
Good morning Lodge. Another slow and snowy commute. I was very excited when I got to work and felt the layer of ice from yesterday's parking lot had been cleared! Just some snow from today, no terrifying ice hiding under the snow.
Now, my driveway is another story, but I had NaSK wheel the trash out so that I needn't set foot outside the garage.

Good Morning Lodge!
Snowmageddon never really materialized here. 4 inches and then rain by morning.
I ended up getting over 5" before it turned to rain. By the time I left this morning it was fine, but from what every one of my coworkers who went into the office said, the commute home was positively miserable. 2 hours from Watertown to Malden? No effing thanks. That's a 3+ hour drive for me then.
I gotta little bit of smoke and a whole lotta wine...
I bet the ability of bending to pick up something without thought is in there too
The awesomeness of naps would be another.
Never really developed a taste for tequila. Kind of hard to understand how you make a drink out of something that sharp, inhospitable. Now, bourbon is easy to understand.

Yup- thecomicbook guy left his office at 2:30pm yesterday afternoon and got home to Manchester, NH at 5:15 (normally about 50 minutes). He was...less than pleasant. Took me 1:45 to get to the hospital (usually 45-50 minutes). It was mostly ice on my commute in. Roads were okay this morning on my way home.
Thanks, les. Grueling schedule through end of the month (off 2 starting tonight, then on 5, etc) , but I'm working very little in March, so I can't complain (off the 1st - 6th, then 6 in a row on, then 16 days off!!!!). (took 3 vacation days and bundled the rest of my shifts)
