                You must not know very many people outside of the mathematical or science fields in your real life. Just yesterday I had to explain to someone how increasing from 100 to 125 was a 25% increase and not a 20% increase. This person has a BA rather than a BS degree, which shouldn't surprise. There are some people who are simply not good at math.

                    I've talked to a number of people (mostly conservatives) who believe that what's happening is strictly a panic herd mentality in the sell off. Funny thing...is that those people didn't question the validity of Dow 26,000 up from Dow 18,000 a year and a half earlier.

                    So in their minds, the crazy run up was totally understandable/justified when Trump didn't touch the economy - and the crazy sell off is unjustified herd panic after Trump messed with it.

                      It's the same mentality that causes Congress to return 90+% of its incumbents every two years, despite both chambers collectively experiencing approval ratings lower than the Catholic Church. My Congresshuman isn't the problem when things go to sh*t.
