Ah poop. Won't be for the U20s as it starts before 1/1. We'll first see it in men's and women's Worlds.

With puck drop now only four days away and one exhibition already in the books, time to bump this thread up to the top of the food chain. USA beat Russia in the first exhibition 3-2 on a Jack Hughes goal with 28 seconds left in regulation. Final exhibition vs Czech Republic tomorrow.

Notable performances by NCAA players in the lone exhibition:

Cayden Primeau (Northeastern): Zero goals on eight shots. (Split time evenly with Spencer Knight of the NTDP.)
Oliver Wahlstrom (BC): 1 goal 1 assist
    Joel Farabee (BU): 2 assists
Phil Kemp and Jack St. Ivany (both Yale): 1 assist each
Evan Barrett (Penn St): 1 assist

The final roster will be determined by a single six man cut on Dec. 23, as opposed to rolling cuts throughout prelims.

Supposed to be announced tomorrow (23rd). Don't know if the announcement will come before or after the Czech exhibition.

Nothing on Hockeytv or reddit as far as I can see, can't find the live stats link either. From the USA hockey twitter, scratches, Keane, Barrett, Chooghe, Callahan, Walker. Knight.

USA up 5-1 after 2. Goals from Norris (Robertson, Poehling) & Chmelevski (Farabee, Keyser) give #TeamUSA a 5-1 lead over the Czech Republic heading into the second intermission.

Annoying music and no replay of the goals. I assume Jack Hughes is 9. Watch the move starting at around 25 sec.

If you need a replay, why not just rewind the video?
