I assume Hakstol won't be far behind.
That community is already in the process of dissolution where each man begins to eye his neighbor as a possible enemy, where non-conformity with the accepted creed, political as well as religious, is a mark of disaffection; where denunciation, without specification or backing, takes the place of evidence; where orthodoxy chokes freedom of dissent; where faith in the eventual supremacy of reason has become so timid that we dare not enter our convictions in the open lists, to win or lose.

Tom Wilson does it again. Missed a Tom Wilson hat trick (goal, assist, and a match penalty) by failing to get an assist.

Leafs sign Nylander minutes before deadline.

William Nylander and the Leafs have agreed on a six-year contract extension, one that carries an annual average value of $10.2-million US this season and an AAV of $6.9-million in years two through six.

@DamoSpin: Amazing but true: last night marked the first time Eric Staal had appeared on Hockey Night in Canada on a regular Saturday broadcast in his 15-year NHL career.

Jeez, are the Leafs planning to hang onto Marner and Matthews at all? Let alone build and keep a strong D core.

After the success of the fight in Boston leading to the comeback victory, the Wings apparently decided that tonight, down 1-0, it would be a great idea to go full gongshow on the bit against the Avs, and try to reignite a dead rivalry.

There will likely be suspensions coming out of this. Wheeeee.

If the Cap hits 100 million, they may be able to swing it.
