    Peter Chiarelli fired in Edmonton, a day after signing his backup goalie to a 3 year contract (with some sort of no-trade, naturally).
    I gotta little bit of smoke and a whole lotta wine...

      As previously mentioned, the injury happened quite a while ago. Last week it came out that it happened during a fight in a game. We all knew it did, but the Wild wouldn't confirm.

                  Brooklyn Decker also actually won the passing competition, and CCM ponied up 25k to award her for the prize money the NHL didn't decide to do.

                  I get the dislike for ASG festivities and such, but these types of things are very neat, and great that the NHL has started including the Women's national team players to be involved with.
