That's my day." You get used to it. Helps your figure, too. There are times I cannot sit still for a bit, simply because I'm used to expending that energy.

lilnsl loads meat off pallets all day. He has the most amazing musculature. He thinks nothing of it now but when he started he was sore as can be.

It's not only conditioning. It's so easy to do heavy work inefficiently, even the most basic stuff. You learn ways not to fight what you are lifting or moving, and when it's repetitive, all that adds up.

My brother did construction for the Army Corp of Engineers one summer and it is amazing the musculature that changes and develops. He was in his late teens/early 20s at the time.

Obv ewe has met me, knows me. I'm (c) melmac a "skinny-arse Mick."

This is the best explanation, although the character is IIRC Welsh:

Work told me this is the plan:

"If it's to be, it's up to me."

Basically, if I am to come out, it has to be on me. HR can support and clean up, but I need to show some leadership here. As for bathrooms, just tell them when I decide to use the women's room.

Coworker runs around, telling everyone our place of employment is bad and encourages them to leave. The fact he's not following his own advice is on The List. If it's that bad, dude, retire already.

Marathon training with a new attitude is on the Anti-List. No longer about the data, it's about having fun and seeing what I can really do.

Having a new-ish car finally is on the Anti-List. Persephone is a white Chrysler Town & Country, and it's the sweetest ride I've ever had.

People yelling at me, alleging that I'm doing my job wrong, when they have no idea what they're doing or what they're talking about goes on The List. We provide technical support to your team, and you don't know how to update a hyperlink within a Word doc for the updated application location, that does not mean my team did its job wrong. (That doesn't mean we did it correctly either, but at least we're not wrong about which you're attacking us.)

Not being able to sleep past 5:30A when I can sleep way later is on the List. So aggravating.
Listening to someone sniff...sniff...sniff...., repeat, repeat, repeat- incessantly is on the List. Blow your gorramn nose! Every week comes for dinner and I listen to this. Like a little pebble in my shoe. By the time they leave I am ready to stab someone in the eye with a fork.
On the anti-List getting what I need to get done early enough I can relax this evening.

Not being able to take even one pic of myself, inside the building I am standing in right now, is on The List...but, I definitely understand why, and I will respect that.

That community is already in the process of dissolution where each man begins to eye his neighbor as a possible enemy, where non-conformity with the accepted creed, political as well as religious, is a mark of disaffection; where denunciation, without specification or backing, takes the place of evidence; where orthodoxy chokes freedom of dissent; where faith in the eventual supremacy of reason has become so timid that we dare not enter our convictions in the open lists, to win or lose.

The (alleged) driving skills of most people are on The List.

The whole being recertified thing is on the LIST!!! Organizations that change rules without warning and not grandfathering are on the List.

Need 75 CEUs. Usually never a problem. I have been over double every time I have recerted (5 times). Used to submit via snail mail so 6-8 wks before the date. Last time went to a big conference ($$$) too late to count CEUs. Called last yr about something else, was bemoaning this and was told I could use them as long as they were not 5 yrs old when I sent in my application. Clarified and got person's name. Called a bit ago to clarify how to document it on application as they are now web based and it isn't intuitive. Rule changed a few months ago. 26 credits in the hopper. So then I ask about how to doc my teaching hours. They used to count as 15 CEUs if you taught a course. Nope. 60hrs also in the hopper. Went from almost double the requirement to 13 short. Today I find out, by mistake, they may require a 4-6 wk lead time even tho it is no where on the website. I am signed up for conference in early Dec for 24 CEUs. Well over what I need. Aaaaannnnnnddddd....... I may have to pay 200$ to expedite to have them count. eff me. I am royally p1ssed. I am not practicing but don't want to lose the Cert in case I want to teach at that level. So irritating

Every time I have recertified they have changed the letters they use to signify the certification. I guess it will be on the anti-List if they do that this time. I won't need to deal with changing Signage on the front of the Practice, prescriptions, in the EMR, etc and hearing the DOc whine about it like I have a way to control that!

Also on the Anti-List not having to deal with the toxic stuff that went along with working there. Looking back I will take paying out the extra $$ over having to deal with that any day.
