Whoever said up-thread that Michigan may be the worst team in D-I hasn't watched UAH's first ten games.

I am considering coming up at year-end for the tournament. I've always wanted to hit a game at your rink. What's the best airport to fly into?

Talent Gap. Otherwise, at least the Cats looked better than last night. More talented team simply won.

Talent gap or talent development gap? Last night I was thinking about Massie's freshman year vs how he is playing now... The last few years it seems like the incoming freshman class is better than the departing seniors.

Was looking forward to seeing Liam Coughlin play. Is he injured?

I'd assume so - IIRC he came off hurt during one of the UConn games

Talent development gap. Again, this sophomore class was rated #6 in the COUNTRY as incoming freshman.

So not to argue. And not to imply NHL draft pics mean EVERYTHING. But my quick look and count - BC has 11? 12? NHL drafted players. UVM with 2? We can complain about development. We can. But we can also acknowledge a talent gap. At least as far as the NHL views talent.

Mankato has none and they seem to be doing pretty well for themselves.

Maybe so, But I was directly addressing THIS weekend. And I also know what I saw. And I also mentioned what the NHL has seen. That is simple in my mind and I won't argue on the internet.

I cannot count how many times BC forwards walked our d with a direct line to shoot 1.0 or 2.1. So many times they beat our players to the front of the net or were alone. Any 10 year old knows not to do that regardless of coaching. Some teams are simply better and faster. I loved the effort of game two. i do not blame the boys for losing. Simply stating my belief for why that happened. I'll check out now. Let's go next weekend.

For anyone who doubts a coaching change can do wonders for a struggling program, look no further than UMass and Greg Carvel.
