On Sunday, the Boston Bandits (NCDC) lost to the New Jersey Rockets 4-2. Jack Brackett had no points or penalties. https://www.usphl.com/view#/game-summary/2258
Brackett's line is now 5-3-1-4-0.
The listing of all recruits' stats will be updated, the next time it is posted.Last edited by Ralph Baer; 09-24-2018, 11:05 AM.

Obviously height does not determine if you're a good athlete, especially given some of the names you mentioned previously. And it's not like he's a D-man or centre so there isn't too much worry from a defending standpoint. Diamond in the rough, perhaps? I'd love to see how his ice vision is when out there in the attacking zone.

RPI gets verbal commit from Max Itagaki ‘02 (Chicago Mission U16). Undersized fwd who skates well, good skill sets with vision, offensive mind, goes to right places, & competes for pucks.

Max Itagaki (Chicago Mission 16U) has committed to Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute for 2021-2022. @RPI_Hockey @maxitagaki18 @ChicagoMission @HPHL_Hockey

Agrees with my wild guess for when he arrives.

Re: RPI Recruit Thread 2018-19
3.5⭐️ Max Itagaki to RPI. Undersized but quick and shifty F. Smart with skills to back his brain. Creative and crafty with poise around the goal. Competes and knew how to change pace. A at U15 Nationals and B+ at recent Beast/HPHL.

Might as well Post one with his picture......MAX ITAGAKI presently skating on the Mission U16 team has verbally committed to play for Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Max is an original Chicago Mission player who began as a Squirt Major for the Mission.

Congratulations to Max and the Itagaki family.@AHAI_1 @HPHL_Hockey pic.twitter.com/LE9Jjvg9FaBrandon Pirri: Turk would give it to Jagr. That's awesome! Jagr's untouchable. And he would give it to Jagr.

RELEASE: Steel finalize roster ahead of 2018-2019 regular season. #WeAreSteel

Gunnarwolfe Fontaine made the Chicago Steel roster. Christian Sarlo did not.
I had suspected that Sarlo was the most at risk of the six RPI recruits who were earlier on USHL rosters. I think that Sarlo will end up on the NJ Titans' (NAHL) roster. There is an off chance that another USHL team will want him.
I think that the other four players will stay in the USHL (Ashbrook, Dubinsky, Matt Cameron, Herrman). All but Cameron are returnees, and Cameron played well. We know that Ashbrook is on the injured reserve list.Last edited by Ralph Baer; 09-24-2018, 05:09 PM.

Edit: There are teams with fewer or more than 23 players listed. (And someone like Ashbrook who is on injured reserve may not count.) The total is fewer than an average of 23 per team. Conceivably someone will pick up one or both of Sarlo and Cameron.Last edited by Ralph Baer; 09-25-2018, 12:49 AM.
