Sure, the lawyers will have a BOATLOAD of fun with that one, but I would be willing to hear this one out, the details, etc.
Not to mention, when was the last time criminals followed laws? I thought not following laws is what made them criminals to begin with?

So why have laws at all then?

Yeah, laws are for oppressive commie libs. Who needs em? Let's all go back to vigilante justice. Someone kills your dad and you're mad about it? Hunt the perp down and shoot him.

Outside of your example.....half kidding. I could argue a crime of passion or whatever the specific language is in that case...

I think most people succumb to the power of suggestion. If a business has signs that say "No Guns Allowed" they will tend to believe there are no guns present.

If a business has signs that say "Guns Are Allowed Here," then people will tend to believe that there are many guns on the premises.
Never really developed a taste for tequila. Kind of hard to understand how you make a drink out of something that sharp, inhospitable. Now, bourbon is easy to understand.

Just watched this story tonight on the AR-15 done by 60 Minutes. There is no ****ing way that anyone should be allowed to own one. No way. This country is out of its ****ing mind.

Shooting criminals, when criminals are not criminals. Everyone's got to have their freedom.

So if criminals are going to be criminals, then the easy button is to eliminate their weapon of choice.

Works well in the rest of the developed world, it should work fine here.

The issue with Gun Free Zones in the USA is that you're asking people to respect an idea when a portion of that population is armed to the teeth, and a subset of that portion is either completely insane (literally) or lazy in securing their weapons to keep them away from the mentally ill. Until we can make the US a nation that's not a bastion for nuts with guns, we're going to see GFZs targeted time and again - schools, universities, public parks, public services buildings, and any private organization that "bans guns on these premises."

It's a sad reality. The solution is going to be tough, to get past the NRA and useful idiots, and finally regulate these would-be pseudo militiamen.

I saw someone sum it up as were a nation of trash. I don’t disagree
