Re: Bemidji State Beaver 2018-19: Time To Take The Next Step

Just got back from the Berry Events Center at NMU. Congrats Beavers on a gutsy 2-1 win tonight against a formidable NMU squad. What looked like a goal just a couple minutes left in the 3rd for NMU putting them up 2-1 was disavowed and we squeaked out a breakaway with .3 seconds left. Wow! I have duel allegiances in this one. In almost every case, I am a loyal NMU fan (2-time graduate and 3-year Basketball letter winner), but after 33 years at BSU, they pay my pension so...Congrats Beavers!

Congrats Beavers on your 3-1 win Saturday @ Alaska-Anchorage and your weekend sweep. 3-1-1 on the road is a great start.

Nice road sweep against teams they should sweep. Not leaving points on the table could be huge come February.

Tough loss for the Beavers last night in St. Cloud, 2-0 (empty netter). BSU outshot the Huskies 32-21 with the Huskies first goal coming on the power play.

                        I'll take the bait.

Even tougher with a good Beaver goal called off late (according to the St. Cloud broadcaster)

Yeah, according to the paper writeup, the ref anticipated the puck being coverwd up and blew the whistle. The video highlights I saw kind of confirmed that.

That's what I figured until they went to a review. Entertaining game regardless, hopefully another one soon.

Congrats Beavers! Although the players probably aren't happy, I will take a split against #3 Mankato.
