    "This way to the egress."

    From his Wikipedia entry:

Previously in 2016, Duplantis and fellow televangelist Kenneth Copeland defended their use of private jets as firstly, commercial planes were full of "demons" which would bog down their schedules with requests for prayers; and secondly, on a commercial airplane, Duplantis would not be able unbuckle his seat belt to speak to God standing up.

Good Glory. From people who say claim to be Christians. Early Christians suffered real persecution, died for their beliefs, tried to live as Sweet Jesus taught them. Now 'Christians' whine about imagined slights, show not an iota of the fortitude real Christians did and shine their halos because they are challenging evil people. Jesus is probably up there doing a version of the face-palm-head-desk. That is plain embarrassing.

Are you referencing the Sweet Jesus ice cream shops that have been getting protested?

Wow. Just wow. These people have a truly warped idea of Christianity. They spend so much time obsessing about minutia they can't possibly have much time to open their hearts and do what Jesus was telling them to do- love your neighbor, care for the sick, widows and children.

I still want to see a radical Christianity where... I don't know... everyone acted like Christ.

You could have phrased this better...

@firstthingsmag: There is a connection between working with your hands and manhood.

    Good article, though.

    Good article, though.
    From the article:

Some are blessed with greater strength and agility, but it is good to remember that gifts are not always received with gratitude. Besides placing us in someone’s debt, gifts can define us. When I use that axe I was given for Christmas, or put on that sport coat, I am transformed. The axe strengthens my hands and my arms as I put it to work. Even the structure of my brain is altered. And the coat changes both my body temperature and what people see when they look at me. I see myself with new eyes. So, receiving a gift in some sense requires submitting to it.

Our bodies are given as either male or female. And the two sexes are full of meaning, like pages of text. But the texts must be read and their meanings drawn out.

You can always tell when the Muscular Christianity Chestertons of the world get misty-eyed that the bullsh-t's a-comin, Elizabeth.

Please give it up, joe. This rubbish hasn't sold with anybody since 1890 who didn't really, desperately need to have their prejudices petted.
