Unbelievably sad news... I pray for the families, friends and fans of the men that lost their lives and I pray for the survivors who will deal with emotional scars long after the physical ones heal.

Re: Tragedy for the Humboldt Broncos
This is such a horrible tragedy. My heart is breaking for the team's families/friends/fans/opponents. The bus trips are something I always think about when my beloved Colgate women's and men's hockey teams take to the road. Thinking of those in Humboldt.

Looking at a picture of the crash site https://www.nytimes.com/2018/04/07/w...bus-crash.html it is surprising that anyone survived.

The Saskatoon Star-Phoenix has a good writeup on all 15 who died in the crash, plus the survivors:https://t.co/dyHRmJ8bjy

Re: Tragedy for the Humboldt Broncos
The gofundme has eclipsed 3 million, currently around 3.2M.
While I'm sure it isn't entirely hockey community donations, I've gotta believe the majority are. It doesn't surprise me, but I'm always impressed with how the hockey community rallies around their own when times get tough, no matter where or who it is.

I may be crucified for this, but I feel it needs to be said. I feel for that truck driver, having to live with that guilt for the rest of his life. That weight on his shoulders....yes it's his fault from the reports, and he should feel guilt, but that doesn't mean he doesn't have major sorrow.....Never really developed a taste for tequila. Kind of hard to understand how you make a drink out of something that sharp, inhospitable. Now, bourbon is easy to understand.

Niagara Falls was illuminated in the colours of green and gold this evening, as a symbol of binational support for the residents of Humboldt, Saskatchewan as they deal with the pain and shock emanating from Friday's terrible crash. #HumboldtBroncos #HumboldtStrong #NiagaraFalls pic.twitter.com/lrFcH2FI8c

BREAKING: Coroner's office says they misidentified two victims. Tragically Parker Tobin, previously believed alive, is one of the deceased.
— Chris Vandenbreekel (@Vandecision) April 9, 2018
This means Xavier Labelle, previously thought dead by his family, is ALIVE. #HumboldtBroncos

We're not perfect. Another reason why we should live every day to its fullest and be thankful for what we have.
