Ralph, do you think they'll ever make the Fight Song or the Alma Mater available as ring tones?
I remember the early Freakouts. In particular, I remember a BRF against St. Laurence that so scrambled goalie Gray Weikert that he was shelled and lasted only one period. [And yes, to my SLU friends, Gary Laskoski was a much better goalie than Gray Weikart.]
I remember Doc Pahl. I met him while covering stories for the Poly. He was always generous to commuter students like me. I remember his genuine medical concern about the noise level in the Field House for the Freakout. He was right, but for two hours one night of the year... Having spent some time in factories, I learned that ear plugs were a sound investment.
I'll bet I've been to half of the BRFs over the years. I suspect some of you have been to more. My favorite gift: the cowbells. Hands down. Although a win over Colgate tonight would be a great way to end the regular season and point to things to some.
