If Craig and Connery had their scripts reversed Craig would be the A+ Bond without question. As such it's Connery 1A and Craig 1B. Both imho are quintessential Bond if for different reasons.

I never hated Moore as Bond I think because he was getting the gigs when I was old enough to start watching Bond films, but as my dad introduced me to Connery (it seems at least once a month a Bond film was rerun on Sunday nights for years) I soon realized his folly. Although an argument can be made that 2 of his Bond outings rank Top 10 all time, Octopussy and Moonraker are so godawful it taints his tenure.

    Dalton? Ish.

Brosnan? imho perfect for the part but DAD and TND are complete rubbish and Goldeneye completely overrated.

Lazenby only got one shot but completely nailed it.

I'd like to see Jude Law in the running for the next installment.

I'd say all the Brosnans have aged well except the Iceland Halle Berry disaster.

Skyfall was sh-t. Pure, unrelenting, mawkish sh-t. What if Lifetime and Michael Bay had a baby?

Spectre wasn't awful it was just a non-entity. Except the cray Raoul Julia gay villain. He was good. Wait, was that Skyfall?

Yeah, but as is oft stated, you like The Bachelor, so there no accounting for taste.

Speaking of, he's picked some really sh*tty movies in the last 5 years or so.

Wait, isn't this the Foreign Policy thread?

I'm pretty sure Trump thinks the James Bond series is a documentary on foreign relations, so I give it a pass.

I always liked Skyfall. I thought it was top notch. Casino was my all time favorite followed by Skyfall. Quantum was forgettable, IIRC. Spectre was good enough.

I only liked Goldeneye from the Brosnan series. I didn’t like any of the Moore ones. Can’t recall any of the dalton or Lazenby movies.

Connery I’ll have to give another try now that Craig has a few movies.
