If we do see a wave we will be bidding several of these guys ado. Walker is particularly execrable, but hopefully sweethearts like Steve King will be taken out with the rest of the trash.

They believe that. And so do their voters. And you'll never convince them otherwise.

Expect nothing else from people who insist their bigoted denial of others' civil rights is their "religious freedom."

Steve King is in something like a R+30 district. He's safe.

I was going by an IA newspaper editorial. Should have known.

It would be really nice if sane Republicans started challenging these jackas-ses in the primaries.

Part of me is hopeful on the bathroom bill but the other part of me knows this place can be pretty derpy sometimes, though Anchorage is trending liberal these days.
Bathroom bill is failing right now but it’s close enough with ballots still to count.

Our incumbent Dem Mayor is cruising to reelection.

Of course, according to comments by conservatives, the mail-in balloting is a liberal conspiracy designed to ensure liberal candidates are elected.

Unless there is a subsidy for the stamp, vote by mail constitutes a poll tax. Violation of the 24th.

Wrong as usual. Mail in ballots are postage paid. Of course.

Actually they weren’t postage paid but there were multiple drop off locations. And you had two weeks.

Scott. But Tim is in the running.

I'd say Walker. I don't ever remember a situation where a governor tried to have a special election cancelled because he was afraid of his party losing even though the results won't change the partisan advantage in the state house. It's mindboggling.
