          Aw man, I remember catching his TV show when I was a kid. I think it was on Showtime, and looking back, I know there were a lot of jokes going on that I didn't get beyond the slapstick routine. He was a funny man.

                Bummer. my uncle played hockey for the gophers with genes nephew and was his roommate so my parents got to meet gene a few times.
