The interesting thing about the release was the reference to "first year head coach Bryan Vines" rather than "interim head coach Bryan Vines" as he was labeled in the recruiting release. Has he already been given the permanent job? If I was being recruited to take an assistant's position I'd want to know that the head coach would probably have the job past the upcoming season.
