BTW I'm really glad USA Hockey is developing these high level players that the NHL won't let play at the Olympics in two years...U-A-A!!!Go!Go!GreenandGold!

Re: 2016 World Junior Championship
SO....before we get too overconfident....the Czech team was dead. They may as well have stayed home. If you watched the Canada/Finland game, they were flying up and down the ice. An unbelievable game. We don't want to have to play Finland in their home rink in front of their fans. From what I saw, the USA is methodical and efficient, but the Finns play with more speed (I won't say "skill" but almost) and they certainly have more firepower. When the USA plays a team that can skate and check with them, they're not getting seven goals. But Finland scored six against a Canada team that we were life and death with. I'm thinking we match up better with Sweden (even though we lost to them, we outplayed them and seemed to be able to "control" them).

BTW - Canada finished 6th. We will be in the same group with them if we get a silver or bronze medal.CCT '77 & '78

Seems reasonable that the third seeds would be 5th and 6th, the fourth seeds 7th and 8th, but with no common opponents in the preliminary round, how do they choose 5th over 6th?Last edited by LTsatch; 01-02-2016, 09:35 PM.YALE HOCKEY

Too bad NHL network decided to prune it due to "time restrictions" so we could see another lame pre-game/highlights show.

The guy who is doing it is not sure how long he will due to the fact he had 20k people watching Canada Finland Saturday. Theres supposed to be another youtube stream coming on soon.
The u stream link worked for me all of group stages, would expect it will continue to work, though the guy who was controlling it would flip back and forth between games (sometimes frustrating, but shouldnt be a problem today).BS UMass Lowell 2015
