Father is ex-NHL goalie Brian Boucher. Right-shot forward played for Comcast in Philly areas the past two years. Had 8 points in 7 games at WSI.Jeff Cox @JeffCoxSports
Tyler Boucher committed to BU today after a great showing at WSI. Ď03 F heading to Avon Old Farms. Plays heavy, goes to the net hard, goal scorer, plays with edge.
Received an A+ rating at Total Pro Showcase of top í03 prospects.
Tyler Boucher, #10 Canadiens, Right Shot, Team Virtua - He has a quick stick and was a good skater. His speed into the zone down the left wing started a scoring play. He also made a really nice pass to spring a teammate on a partial breakaway. He had a heavy shot as well.
Boucher and Wilmer ranked:
2018 NHL Combine began in Buffalo today. Among the 104 attendees are Brady Tkachuk and 2018 recruits Joel Farabee and Jake Wise. So, too, is Tyler Weiss, who according to several accounts wonít be coming to BU and is looking at other options.
Craig Button's final draft projections for TSN has Tkachuk #4, Farabee #11, Wise #42. Weiss, now committed to UNO is #75.

I guess with Sebrango, you may have put a lot of stock into Quinn's ability to develop defensemen?
BU Hockey: The trophy case is once again growing

At the Junior Chowder Cup:
Roamed rinks for couple of hours in Walpole & Foxboro today. Saw only a handful of players among hundreds, but BU commit Robert Mastrosimone of @ChicagoSteel was best of the bunch— Mark Divver (@MarkDivver) July 14, 2018
NEHJ report on a pair summer hockey tournaments this past weekend:
Jeff Cox's list of top players he viewed included another BU recruit, Tyler Boucher. This past weekend, many top prospects born in 2002 and 2003 converged on the Greater Boston area to play in the Junior Chowder Cup and the Junior Battle of Boston.
College coaches and junior scouts were on hand to watch, as the two tournaments took place across Massachusetts in Foxboro, Walpole, Canton and Attleboro. There were far too many teams and a wide variety of talent, making it impossible to view every team.
Boston University recruit Jeremy Wilmer, playing on Hockey Essentials White, was by far the best player viewed over the weekend. A standout at USA Hockey Select 15s, he was equally good in Walpole. Heís on the smaller side, but he has great hands, protects pucks and produces offensively on a consistent basis.
Looks like another NTDP defenseman in your pipeline
"Never tell me the odds"
If this commitment switch is confirmed, then all eight of the NTDP U18 Ds for this season will be committed to Beanpot schools: 3 for BU, 3 for BC, 2 for Harvard.
