Six spots behind a single A school playing up ... Might be better to be unranked.

This is a very well done documentary about the history of Edina hockey, including girls hockey. Laura Slominski, former Gopher player and current Edina high school girls coach, is prominently featured. Well worth watching for all hockey fans.

Big game tonight as Hill-Murray, the No. 1 ranked in team in AA (big schools), beat the No. 3 ranked team in Class AA - Edina - by a score of 2-0.

For any of you Yale or Bemidji State fans who might be reading this, your recruits did quite well, scoring a goal and an assist each. For everyone else, the imbedded video would give you an idea of the compete level of these two Minnesota high school teams:

Anywhere I can scope holiday tournament brackets?

With the break in the college schedule it's a good time to catch some of the super gifted, way better than any non Minnesota girl's high school hockey player in the entire country...playing in any of the TC area holiday tournaments. Particularly future Gophers hoarded and subsequently imprisoned, thus doomed with no hope of actually playing college hockey.
