They're only trying to ban the methods of birth control that give the woman the control. Defending it is out of line, even if there are "exceptions."

... it’s one of the most devastating things a potential parents can have happen and to have anyone in this country think it’s a good thing to investigate and punish is just absolutely sickening.

My would-be cousin had a defective heart and died in utero: genetics. But that aunt still thinks it's her fault for some reason.

One thing I think we should do as a society is do a better job of getting out there the info that roughly 25% of pregnancies result in miscarriage. If you've got 4 kids, and you didn't have a miscarriage, you beat the odds. A woman (or a man, for that matter) feeling like a miscarriage is her fault is frankly tragic, and it's kind of avoidable.

Maybe I read the article wrong, but it sounds like the bill only bans a specific procedure, with a "life of the mother" exception...
